Visconti's restaurant of Leavenworth is
winner of the Washington Winemaker's Choice Award.
This was announced Wednesday by the Washington Wine Commission during the
2009 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards, sponsored by Seattle Business
Magazine.
Visconti's was chosen by a group of state winemakers for having the most
supportive restaurant and staff. The Leavenworth restaurant was singled out
for its staff training, its 93-bottle wine menu that highlights the local
Columbia Cascade region, 174-Other Washington Wines, and 254-Italian and
World wines.
